Tasks
The Studienpräses may delegate some tasks from his/her extensive area of activity to the head of the study programme. Decisions must be made in the name of the Director of Studies.
The Delegation Ordinance determines which tasks the Studienpräses performs and which tasks are specifically delegated to the Head of the study programme.
The area of responsibility includes in particular
- Counselling in matters of study law
- Handling study law proceedings
- Appointment of reviewers for doctoral programmes
- Blocking the use of academic work
- Implementation of the university scholarship system (merit and funding scholarships)
- Safeguarding good academic practice
The Office of the Studienpräses supports the Studienpräses and the Vice-Studienpräses in the preparation and implementation of decisions relating to study law.

- Forwarding applications for embargo of academic work
