Appealing

If a negatively assessed examination has a serious formal deficiency, it can be cancelled by the Studienpräses after an administrative procedure has been carried out.

Serious deficiencies are, for example, insufficient examination time, illegible examination questions, too few questions asked, no examination record, etc.

An appeal must be submitted to the Studienpräses within four weeks of notification of the assessment and will be dealt with by means of a decision. The assessment of an examination per se cannot be contested; it must be a serious formal error.
